Anat Baniel Method(R) NeuroMovement(R) for Kids with Special Needs
The Anat Baniel Method for Children with special needs (ABM) is a unique and innovative therapeutic method, promoting transformation in your child’s life – whether your child has special needs or shows sign of developmental delay.
Anat Baniel is a senior trainer of the Feldenkrais method, having an additional 30 years experience working with children with special needs. A leading expert in the field of Children’s Neurodevelopment, Baniel’s ABM method is an evolution of the Feldenkrais method.
The ABM method has gained worldwide support from leading researchers in the field of Neuroscience, such as Dr. Michael Merzenich—Professor emeritus at the University of California, San Francisco, and creator of the BrainHQ brain training—,amongst others. Practiced daily by therapists around the world, the ABM method assists children, who experience various forms and aspects of developmental delay, to activate the “learning switch” in their brain; those children can then live more fully, as they are able to function better in their everyday lives.
The Israeli Neurodevelopment center for children with special needs is located within a peaceful clinic in the city of Tel-Aviv. It implements the ABM Neuromovement approach, while, additionally, exercising the Feldenkrais method in order to achieve optimal results. The clinic offers counseling sessions, intensive sessions and therapy for children of all ages, including infants and toddlers. The center treats both Israeli and foreign patients, arriving at the Israeli Neurodevelopment center in order to experience the satisfying results of the ABM method.
Eytan Lerner is a senior Feldenkrais practitioner. A student of Anat Baniel, his master trainer, Lerner graduated in 1994. Since then Lerner has gained over 20 years of experience, working with adults who suffer from various functional problems and with Entertainment industry people, such as actors, singers, dancers and musicians.
In 2008, Eytan started treating children with special needs. Working with children who are diagnosed with Hypotonia, Asperger and Autism, ADHD and ADD, along with children who suffer from a variety of neurological and genetic disorders, Eytan has gradually achieved better and most satisfying results.
After several educational visits to the ABM center in San Rafael, California, Eytan finally graduated in 2014, becoming a certified Neuromovement therapist.
In 2017, after being invited to the Ukraine, by parents who were interestd in learning the ABM method in order to assists their children, Eytan Lerner has opened a unique Parents Project in the Ukraine. Several times a year, Eytan additionally lectures and treats patients at the ABM centers in Istanbul and Cyprus
